This movie was a smack you upside your head funny kind of movie. Really cheesy but fun. I wouldn’t recommend that you guys spend money to see this movie in the theaters but I would really recommend you guys watch this on DVD when it comes out, I know that I’ll be buying it because maybe it’s just me and Jessica’s sense of humor but this one hit a bunch of funny chords within us, because we laughed uproariously throughout the entire movie. Just funny quips from the two guy friends of Haley Graham.

The way they both try to one up each other is hilarious and Poot (I think that’s his name) is just such a witty character that had me rollin’ up a storm (that’s ghetto talk for laughing my ass off).

Poot: “Dude why do you always have to bite my moment? Did it taste good?”
Frank: “Delicious”
Poot: “Good, kiss kiss”

Then there’s the LOL moment from the previews of the movie, where Poot is seriously digging one of the gymnasts.

Joanne: “Call me”
Poot: “Stalk you”

Then there’s the part in which Poot and Frank try to “break” Haley out of “Juvie”, only to find her doing gymnastics and after they done let it rip about all that, as they were getting kicked out of the gym, Poot starts singing at the top of his lungs,

“Every party has a pooper, that’s why we invited you” while he’s getting dragged out of the gym, I swear the guy is flippin’ hysterical. Had me in fits of laughter at the quick wit he showed throughout this movie, I’m telling you, I was hella rollin’ in the theaters and I’m pretty sure you will too…

This movie was just one of those dumb stupid funny movies that everyone enjoys. I mean if you don’t enjoy the stupidity of Poot and Frank (Haley’s friends) then you’ll enjoy the very stupid Joanne who is really just all out there stupid. And then the ditzy Wei Wei (another gymnast) moments are really funny. When she gets down to Come Baby Come by K7 (remember that song? Swing batter batter batter batter batter SWING! LOL), the movie is just funny. Even Jeff Bridges is funny, it’s got the usual sad moments that make you feel bad and the what the hell was that moments too, but overall the movie was enjoyable, something light and fluffy and definitely funny. VERY TEENY BOPPER! But fun.

You see the movie is about Haley, who is an ex gymnast who walked out of Worlds, nipping any chance of the USA team taking the gold medal, nobody knows why she walked out of the Olympics, no one knows why she turned into a rebel and pretty much, nobody knows a damn thing about Haley, most especially her two compadres, Poot and Frank. Poot and Frank didn’t even know she was a world known gymnast. Her last run in with the law lands her butt in VGA (Vickerman’s Gymnastics Academy) and this is where she meets up with Burt Vickerman who becomes her coach and then her fellow gymnastic team mates, Joanne who hates her guts for walking out on Worlds and doesn’t shy away from letting her know that at every opportunity, then there’s the newbies like Wei Wei and Mina who remember the stories about Haley but are more curious to know WHY she walked out, they all butt heads for a while until they unite and become a real TEAM….thanks to Burt, who learns a few lessons from his kiddies as well.

It’s one of those movies you can take the kiddies to watch because you KNOW they will enjoy it (they really did, my kiddies loved the movie) and as an added bonus, YOU enjoy the heck out of how stupid the movie is…it’s really funny. All you Fall Out Boy fans will enjoy the music in this movie because a huge chunk of it belong to our favorite punk band.

This movie gets 3 fingers of approval! 😉
